Moneris Solutions to Offer New Payment Processing Solutions to Pitney Bowes Small Business Customers

Moneris Solutions, one of North America's largest electronic transaction processors, today announced an agreement with Pitney Bowes (NYSE:PBI), the world's leading provider of integrated mail and document management solutions, to offer Moneris credit and debit card payment processing services to its qualified small business customers.
PB Direct, the Pitney Bowes business group that delivers complete mailing solutions to more than 700,000 U.S. small businesses, will offer to its customers Moneris Solutions' credit/debit card processing services.
Moneris Solutions will provide hardware, proprietary software and service/support that enable these small businesses to accept credit and debit cards in their stores, over the phone and through the Internet. The businesses can be equipped to accept all credit cards, including Visa(R), MasterCard(R), American Express(R), Diners(R), Discover/Novus(R) and JCB(R), or have existing equipment reprogrammed, typically within 24 hours.
