Pitney Bowes Collaborates with Magento to Offer International Ecommerce Solutions
STAMFORD, Conn., Jun 02, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE:PBI) today announced that its ClearPath(TM) international ecommerce and logistics service is now available to U.S.-based retailers on the Magento Open Source Ecommerce Platform. The company's ClearPath Service Suite helps reduce the challenges associated with international ecommerce, allowing e-retailers to take advantage of the surging global online population and favorable exchange rates.
Pitney Bowes collaborated with Grand River, a leading ecommerce development and integration service provider, to build extensions between Magento(TM) and the Pitney Bowes ClearPath(TM) service. The ClearPath services are available through Magento Connect, the official marketplace for Magento extensions. The extension is compatible with Magento Community 1.4 and 1.5 and Magento Enterprise 1.9 and 1.10 versions, allowing customers of all sizes to leverage the Pitney Bowes international services.
