Pitney Bowes Employees Gather for 2004 Diversity Festival; Festival to Educate and Showcase Community and Workforce Diversity
STAMFORD, Conn., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) will hold its 11th annual Diversity Festival on Saturday, September 11th, from 10:00am-2:30pm at its Waterview facility in Shelton Connecticut. Sponsored by the GMS Diversity Leadership Council, the event, which is open to the friends and families of Pitney Bowes employees, is part of the company's commitment to promoting Diversity in the workplace.
With the theme of "Our Community ... Our World", all day activities to celebrate diversity will include displays sponsored by Pitney Bowes business units from around the world, multicultural music and entertainment, Pitney Bowes Product Fair, international children's games and festivities, athletic amusements and an array of international foods. Community exhibitors also on- hand will include Stepping Stones, Stamford Museum and Nature Center, Barlett Arboretum, Shelton High School Robotics Team, Shelton Police, National Guard, along with several Pitney Bowes councils and local literacy groups.
