Pitney Bowes Files Suit Against Stamps.com for Patent Infringment
Seeks to Halt Unlicensed Use of Its Intellectual Property in NetStamps

STAMFORD, Conn., Dec. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) today announced it has filed suit against Stamps.com (Nasdaq: STMP) of Santa Monica, Calif., in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. The suit charges that Stamps.com's NetStamps(TM) postage product infringes several Pitney Bowes patents.
