Pitney Bowes Forms PB Direct to Leverage Alternate Channel Marketing Expertise And Integrate Customer Support
PB Direct to Complement Existing Direct Sales Efforts and Drive Growth
Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) today announced the creation of PB Direct, a new functional area that builds on the alternate channel marketing success and expertise gained in the small business marketplace to complement the company's direct sales force. In addition, PB Direct, which is led by Neil Metviner, President of PB Direct, will manage Pitney Bowes vast small business customer base and direct the enterprise's customer care function to improve customer satisfaction and retention while maximizing cross marketing opportunities."This is a very exciting time at Pitney Bowes," said Mr. Metviner. The new organization will be part of Pitney Bowes Global Mailing Systems and report to Murray Martin, Executive Vice President and Group President, Pitney Bowes Global Mailing Systems. PB Direct's small business offerings will further complement the company's industry leading line of products and services designed to meet the needs of businesses of all sizes.
