(NYSE: PBI) today announced that its software division based in India has earned recognition as one of India's Top 50 Best Companies to Work For in 2010 by the Great Place to Work(R) Institute. Pitney Bowes's ranking on the list was revealed in a special supplement of the June issue of The Economic Times.

Companies are selected for the Best Companies list based on their employees' responses to a "Trust Index", which gauges how employees feel about the organization. A "Culture Audit" also captures the policies and practices followed by the organization.
