Pitney Bowes Sponsors 2007 World Innovation Forum in NYC

Hosts Panel Discussion Featuring Inventor and Futurist Ray

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 1, 2007--Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) today announced its sponsorship of HSM's World Innovation Forum to be held in New York City at the AXA Equitable Center on June 5-6. The interactive forum for approximately 500 senior-level executives will focus on innovation as a core competency for corporations in a competitive business world.

The program will also feature the application of innovation to science, specifically the future impact of technology on the environment. Pitney Bowes Vice President, Environment, Health & Safety, Paul Robbertz will speak at 11 a.m. on June 5 regarding the company's commitment and innovative approach to environmental stewardship. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit Pitney Bowes' Mailstream Center, located at the Equitable Center, where notes on each speaker's presentation will be available for download.

Hosted by Pitney Bowes, a panel discussion on environmental stewardship and climate change will take place at a private roundtable luncheon at the 21 Club on June 5 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Panelists include Inventor and Futurist Ray Kurzweil and Pitney Bowes Deputy General Counsel, Angelo Chaclas. The session will be moderated by Spencer Ante from Business Week.
