Pitney Bowes Supports DHL Ground and 2nd Day Services
MINNEAPOLIS, May 13, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Pitney Bowes Distribution Solutions (PBDS), a division of Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE:PBI), today announced that Ascent(R), its industry-leading mail center management solution, now supports DHL Ground and 2nd Day services. PBDS, a leading supplier of multi-carrier shipping solutions, is among the first vendors in the United States to support these new DHL services.

The Ascent(R) software system is designed to help reduce transportation and logistics costs and streamline mail, parcel, and air express shipment processing. Existing Ascent(R) customers can purchase a module to add all DHL services to their system. All customers who already have the DHL module will receive this upgrade as a part of their PB Software Maintenance Agreement.
