Zebra Welcomes Pitney Bowes As New Zebra Independent Service Provider

STAMFORD, Conn. and VERNON HILLS, Ill., Aug. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) and Zebra Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq: ZBRA) today announced a new relationship whereby Pitney Bowes is authorized to provide comprehensive service options to Zebra's U.S. customer base.

Under the terms of the agreement, Pitney Bowes' Multi-Vendor Services unit, which operates under the Global Mailstream Solutions Division, will act as a Zebra Independent Service Provider (ZISP), offering on-site service for Zebra(R)-brand bar code printers. The alliance will enable Zebra customers to take advantage of Pitney Bowes' Multi-Vendor Services, one of the most comprehensive service programs across the U.S. Zebra Independent Service Providers are authorized and certified to offer flexible printer repair solutions and service contracts to help customers maintain their equipment and minimize costly downtime.

Consisting of over 1,200 A+ certified, multi-vendor specialists, Pitney Bowes Multi-Vendor Services is an authorized service provider for several leading OEMs.
