Eight-Year Contract Worth Approximately $53 Million

WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pitney Bowes Government Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI), announced today that it has been awarded a contract to manage the U.S. Postal Service's Surface Transfer Center in Atlanta. The contract is for four years, with two, two-year options. The potential revenue from this contract over the eight-year term is expected to be more than $53 million.

Under the terms of the contract, Pitney Bowes will provide a range of services, including mail handling and sorting as well as overall management and operation of the terminal in Atlanta, GA. The annual volume at this facility is approximately 26 million mail trays, tubs, and pouches.
