STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 2007--Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI), the world's leading mailstream solutions company, is hosting a conference for nonprofits on March 13 at the Sheraton, Crystal City, in Arlington, VA.
"The conference is about educating nonprofits to assist them as they try to grow their revenues, donor, and member bases in a challenging environment," said Janet Granger-Happ, Nonprofit Marketing Manager, Pitney Bowes Global Mailstream Solutions. Topics include help in developing a strategic plan for fundraising, membership and donor renewals, how to acquire new donors and members, how the proposed postal rate increase would affect nonprofits, and a "best practices" panel by leaders of small to mid-size organizations in the nonprofit community. Betsy Johnson, Executive Director of the Center for Nonprofit Advancement, is the plenary speaker.
Pitney Bowes is hosting the conference in conjunction with three nonprofit partners: the Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers, Center for Nonprofit Advancement, and Virginia Network of Nonprofit Organizations.
